Die in The Style
The crossbow was the first projectile weapon that was simple, cheap and not physically demanding. It was be operated by large numbers of soldiers. The crossbow made skilled archers obsolete and enabled amateurs to be just as strong. Today, rapid prototyping techniques such as CNC milling, laser cutting and 3D printing are available for everyone who wants to give an object the desired shape. The shapes created can even go further than the abilities of the experienced woodworker or craftsman.

This crossbow, worked out in The Style, is completely machine made. It recalls the need for a radical reform of neoplasticism to keep track of the technical, social and scientific developments in the world.
